ABOUT OUR CLIENT
Our client is a Top 200 US MNC within specialty chemical industry in the West – Tuas area.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Handle one or more entities’ full set of accounts
- Oversee the daily operations of GL process (AP/AR)
- Perform monthly account reconciliation including operation expense variance analysis
- Prepare for annual balance sheet review
- Liaise directly with both internal/external auditors and tax agent.
- Assist in implementing strict internal control process and accounting policies.
- Assist in cross functions’ process improvements; participate in cross-functional initiatives to streamline processes/improve the control environment.
- Assist in annual budget process.
- Participate in cost analysis, fixed assets management, including accurate booking, proper management and annual physical counting.
- Participate in costing and inventory, including standard cost review, variance review & capitalization, and annual physical inventory.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree in accounting or equivalent (CICPA, ACCA or ICMA)
- 6 years' relevant experience in a manufacturing environment, with 3 years audit experience is a plus.
- A strong team player with good inter-personal and communications skills
- Sound knowledge of US GAAP and Singapore taxation & GST
- Exposure to ERP systems, SAP and Hyperion experiences
- Effective communication skills in both English & Mandarin is highly desirable
- High integrity and strong ethical values
